Privacy
The short version: you choose. Yes, just the basics lets Google Analytics count your visit with the minimum it needs. No thanks means nothing is tracked at all and nothing is loaded from Google. There are no adverts, and nothing is sold.
What’s measured, and only with your permission
If you say yes, Google Analytics records the basics: which pages you view and for how long, roughly where you are (country or city), what kind of device and browser you use, and how you found the site. I use it to see which parts of the site people actually read. Google signals (which links visits across your devices) and every advertising feature are switched off. Google says Google Analytics 4 doesn’t store IP addresses.
Who does the measuring
Google, through a Google Analytics property linked to this site’s Firebase project (IDG-EJFTGLY8DE). Advertising features are switched off. You can read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses data from sites like this one.
What’s stored on your device
analytics-consent(in this browser’s storage) remembers your answer so you aren’t asked on every visit. It’s needed for the question to work, so it’s stored either way._gaand_ga_EJFTGLY8DEare Google’s cookies, set only after you say yes. They tell one visit from another and expire within 13 months (Google’s default is two years).
Google keeps Analytics data for no more than 14 months.
Changing your mind
Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If you switch measurement off, Google’s cookies are deleted from this site and nothing more is sent.
